This year, instead of chasing resolutions, we return to the foundations of yoga: the Yamas & Niyamas which are the yogic core principles that guide how we move, think, relate, and live.
The Practice is a 6-week container designed to help you build consistency, discipline, and self-awareness through regular practice, reflection, and community.
This is not about intensity for intensity’s sake.
It’s about showing up, again and again - with intention.
Why The Practice Works
Most January challenges fail because they focus only on motivation.
Motivation fades. Structure doesn’t.
By Week 3, most people don’t need motivation anymore — the habit has already started forming.
The Practice combines:

How the Challenge Is Structured
The Practice runs for 6 weeks and follows paired weekly themes inspired by the Yamas & Niyamas.
Weekly themes:
Week 1: Ahimsa (non-harm) & Saucha (clarity)
Week 2: Satya (truth) & Santosha (contentment)
Week 3: Asteya (energy awareness) & Tapas (discipline)
Week 4: Brahmacharya (balanced effort) & Svadhyaya (self-study)
Week 5: Aparigraha (non-grasping) & Ishvara Pranidhana (trust)
Week 6: Integration. Living the practice on and off the mat
Each week includes:
a simple theme to reflect on
suggested class styles to support your body and nervous system
a complimentary e-book for each Yama & Niyama
shared community momentum
No homework. No pressure. Just practice.
Participation
Requirement
To complete The Practice, participants commit to:
24 classes over 6 weeks (approximately 4 classes per week)
Important to know:
All styles count (Yin, Restorative, Vinyasa, Hatha, etc.)
You may attend multiple classes in one day
Restorative and Yin are encouraged - this is about consistency, not burnout
The goal is not perfection.
The goal is rhythm.

PRIZES
Participants who complete 24 classes will be entered into a grand prize draw.
The winner will win a grand cash prize supported by challenge entry fees and studio contributions. So the more sign ups we have to the challenge, the larger sum of the cash prize! E.g. if 100 people sign up for the challenge, the grand prize is then $1000!
