Everything You Need for Your First Class

Arrive Early

Please arrive 10–15 minutes before class starts. We’ll give you a quick tour and get you settled.

What to Bring

A water bottle and a towel. If you have a mat, bring it; if not, we have high-quality mats available for purchase.

What to Wear

Comfortable, stretchy clothing. Yoga is practiced barefoot—no special shoes required!

The Heat Factor

We are not a hot yoga studio. We use mild infrared heat (set just 2 - 4°C above room temp) to help muscles relax without the intensity of a traditional hot room.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We have 2 spots in front and 40 FREE parking spots in the rear lot (labeled “1140 Austin Avenue Parking”).

  • That’s exactly why you start! Yoga is about meeting your body where it is today, not touching your toes.

  • To respect our instructors and other students, we have a strict $10 fee for no-shows or cancellations made less than 4 hours before class.

  • Wear comfortable, breathable, and stretchy clothing that allows you to move freely (think leggings, joggers, or athletic shorts and a stretchy tee or tank). We practice yoga barefoot, so you can leave your shoes and socks in our secure cubbies. Since we use mild infrared heat, you may want to dress in light layers you can remove as you warm up!
